(Day 2) Georgetown Running

I told Steve that I would try to take six hours on the run today so he would have more time to get his stuff for the day done but I had a hard time slowing it down that much. If I don't learn how to slow it down a little soon, I'm sure the mountains in West Virginia will teach me. I met some interesting people today. First I met a 71 year old Vietnam Vet who still runs 3 miles almost every morning. I also met Jo Ann Workman Bryfogle, who was working on her garden in her front yard. She was kind enough to bring me some water and talk to me for a while so I could take a short break. Unfortunately, when I crossed into Maryland from Delaware I was on a dirt road with no signs so I didn't even know exactly when it happened but I'm still happy to have put one state behind me. I'm going to miss you Serinda Conner, thank you again for your hospitality! I will talk to you soon.
